I have had my butt grabbed by the same guy while I was walking to/from work recently. The first time happened about 6 weeks ago, at the Montgomery Rond-Point, which I was crossing to get onto Tervuren. I felt my buttocks being slapped/grabbed, and was too startled and slow to realize what had happened. I looked to see who the culprit was, and a guy on a bike with a brown messenger bag passed me, turned around, and gave me a dirty wink.
Then this past Friday I was walking to work, along Tervueren, and I felt someone touch me, again! Since it hadn’t happened it a while I was surprised, again, and did nothing, but saw the guy on the bike, wearing jeans, a black sweater, and that brown messenger bag around one of his shoulders. He had short (well, perhaps 1 inch long) very dark hair, but he didn’t turn around this time so I couldn’t get a look at his face. This took place at around 9:02 am right outside the building where the Lloyds Bank used to be, at the intersection of Tervuren and Avenue de l’Yser.
To add insult to injury, he did it to me AGAIN at around 17:30 when I was walking home. This time it was again, on the Montgomery Rond-Point, and he was heading north on Avenue de Broqueville. This time I was ready for it and so angry I screamed at him in English… worst of it was though that he didn’t even turn around or seem bothered by it, but kept cycling at a leisurely pace.
I would be very interested in knowing whether he does this to other women, and if yes, if something can’t be done to stop him. I find it unacceptable that I cannot walk to and from work, in an “ok” neighborhood, without being grabbed! I know which route he takes to and from work, which could be helpful I guess in trying to find this guy, but I also recognize that he knows mine.
Nadja.

Dear Nadja,
This is really an infuriating story, the guy must be caught! Like you wrote, you should be able to walk around freely, without the feeling of not knowing if someone will be groping you in a second. Probably you’re not the only one he’s doing or did this to – so please, everyone who recognizes him, do come forward so he may get caught.
