Those who are victims or witnesses of cyberbullying or online harassment, have several options:
- Report the concerning website or page directly to the social media network.
- Report it to e-cops, an online Belgian reporting service of the federal police where one can report online abuse (this is not the same as filing an actual complaint)
- Make a complaint as a victim to the local police station.
- Talk to someone about it, your parents, friends, a teacher, … silence hides violence, share your story.
Cyberbullying is a serious form of online abuse and harassment, and is punishable by law.
